For as long as I can remember, I wanted to build machines. My heroes were the scientists and engineers at NASA, JPL, Skunkworks, and Boeing, and the tales of them rising to meet the Grand Challenges of their day were my north star. So I strove to be have a career where I could build things just like them.
But by the time I found myself working on some of the most complex, capable (and expensive) machines in the history of the world, I had come to realize that no challenge in my lifetime was more daunting than slowing and halting climate change while maintaining the society we've built together over hundreds of generations. So, that's where I am today, working to develop and bring to market technologies that will ensure the life on this planet and our society is around for generations to come.
