Ravikumar Kureti

Ravi Kureti serves as a Product Manager specializing in Drives at TMEIC. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Bangalore University, India, and an EMBA from the University of Wisconsin.

Ravi's professional journey commenced as a field service and commissioning engineer, progressing through diverse roles in custom drive engineering, project management, and application engineering for drives and motors. His wide-ranging responsibilities encompass planning and strategizing the medium voltage drive product portfolio, developing strategic and tactical product roadmaps, conducting market analyses, overseeing product development and launches, managing stakeholder relationships, addressing heat management concerns, handling product lifecycle management, establishing global application specifications, overseeing test stands, and serving as an application coach for medium voltage drives and motors.

Ravi actively participates as a member of IEEE. He serves as a working committee member for IEEE std 1566, which defines the standards for the performance of Adjustable-speed AC Drives rated at 375 kW and above.
