Woodfibre LNG, a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Corp Ltd., is preparing to build an LNG facility on an old industrial pulp and paper mill site, approximately 7km southwest of Squamish. The facility is projected to be operational in 2027, exporting 2.1 mtpa of LNG for the next 40 years.
